To help you practice your speech prep, take a piece of paper and start answering the following questions:

In one month time, find a moment you will be coming forward and be giving a speech!

It can be the birthday of your brother, a celebration of your friend's graduation that you have been invited to come to, or your parents' anniversary. Write down the answers to the following questions to help you prepare your speech:

FIRST: Who are they?

SECOND: What is their common experiences or background?

THIRD: How many are they?

FOURTH: What do they want to hear?

FIFTH: Is the set up formal or informal?

Keep the answers in your notebook so you'll be prepared for the next lesson to develop and prepare your speech!
